Nizamabad: Bihari Ghouse, a rowdy-sheeter, was stabbed to death and two other youngsters were injured in clashes between two groups under the Sixth Town police station limits in Nizamabad city late on Sunday evening.

Bihari Ghouse alias Ayub is a native of Bodhan town and accused in the Baba Reddy and Nahid Bin Chaush double murder case of 2009. When Ghouse and Shaikh Akram, the main accused in the case attended court in 2009, their opponents attacked them and killed Akram in the court premises. Ghouse escaped unhurt from the attack.
 
Ghouse, police said, used to extort money from locals through armed threats. On Sunday evening, Ghouse snatched money from two people after attacking them with



knives at Baban Sahab Pahad and Dharmapuri hills. On coming to know about the incident, the victims’ friends Osman and other youth accosted Ghouse and questioned him. A furious Ghouse attacked Osman and three other youth with a knife that left Osman with injuries on the face.

Later, Osman and his three friends attacked Ghouse with knives in which Ghouse and another youth were injured. They were shifted to different hospitals, but Ghouse died while undergoing treatment at GGH hospital. While Osman was injured seriously, the third youth escaped with minor injuries. 

Police rushed to the spot, registered a case and inquiries are on.
