INDORE Apr 4, 2015 (Agencies) :The mutilated body found on railway tracks in Garoth of Mandsaur district on Wednesday morning is that of a 36-year-old Raipur-based model turned scribe, Anita Karwade, who was travelling alone to Jaipur on Mannargudi Express. She had left her eight-month-old daughter and 4-year-old son with family members in Raipur. As the body was highly decomposed, family members of the deceased performed last rites at Garoth on Friday. After establishing identity of the deceased, Mandsaur police are investigating as to what led to the death of this judo-karate black belt holder.Karwade was a NCC cadet, who died under mysterious circumstances. The express train had passed Garoth railway station at around 5.25am while Karwade's body was found on railway track at around 7am by railway patrolling team. Investigation officer in the case and sub-inspector posted at Garoth police station, Sanjeev Parihar said, "A handbag was found on railway track nearly half-a-kilometre away from the body,

in which we found a mobile number after we conveyed to the family members. We are going to interrogate her husband and other family members."Karwade was going to Jaipur to pay office rent for her Labhansh Gold Film Productions in Jaipur and she had to go Bikaner district thereafter. Police are suspecting this to be a well-planned murder as her luggage was found missing from ladies coach in which she was travelling. "Questions that strengthen suspicion over her murder are why she was travelling alone and without a reservation on such a long journey. Her husband, who is a property broker, could have travelled to settle the rent with her," said Parihar.According to police, Anita took Shalimar Express on Tuesday at 7am. At around 1.30pm she alighted at Nagpur. She boarded ladies coach of Mannargadi Express at 2.55pm. At around 9pm, she informed her husband Manoj about the train reaching Itarsi station.Prior starting a production house, Karwade had a brief stint in a Raipur-based newspaper and a news channel.
