Journalist commits suicide in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A sub-editor working for a vernacular daily reportedly ended his life by jumping into Hussain Sagar lake. Vaddalapu Prabhakar (43), who was working for a Telugu daily for last few years, had left his house on Friday and did not return home. On Saturday night, his son Shilpi lodged a complaint at Punjagutta police station



saying that his father was missing and was incommunicable.

As the police were making efforts to trace him, the body was found in the lake by Ramgopalpet police on Sunday afternoon. He was depressed over personal issues, according to family members.
