Hyderabad: Jilted lover thrashes girlfriend for refusing marriage, held

A 28-year-old man was arrested on Thursday for thrashing her girlfriend after she rejected his marriage proposal here at Saidabad.
Sainath Goud (28), a resident of Gaddi Annaram village of Musarambagh division was in a relationship with the woman (23) for some time. The duo met each other while working with an event management firm where the Sainath used to decorate the mandap, the woman
would dance in the marriage hall.

However, their parents refused to accept their marriage proposal and warned the girl to stay away from him. Sainath who noticed the girl staying away from him thrashed her along with his mother. Followed by a complaint lodged by the girl's parents, the police arrested Sainath and sent for remand.
