Goa MLA alleged for raping minor girl; FIR registered

Goa police have registered an FIR against Independent MLA Atanacio alias Babush Monserrate for allegedly raping a minor girl. The migrant girl had complained that the MLA from Santacruz constitutency raped her several times. The FIR was lodged by the girl in Panaji police station. Police have recorded the statement of



the victim and conducted medical test.

Superintendent of Police Karthik Kashyap said investigations are going on in the case.
