Girl's body dumped in sack near Kancheepuram

An eight-year-girl's half burnt body was found on Sunday in a sack dumped at Mahalakshmi Nagar in Guduvancherry in neighbouring Kancheepuram district. Local residents witnessed street dogs trying to maul the content of a sack and informed the police who sent the body for autopsy to Chengalpet government hospital.

sans-serif; font-size: 10pt; line-height: 115%;">Police said that they found a naked body of a girl who's face was half burnt and believe that the girl's body was bought to Guduvancherry to dispose after murdering her somewhere else. While the police are trying to find the identity of the girl as they are no missing complaints about the girl in the local station but the neighbouring police stations have been alerted.
