Fraudster held for cheating woman

Cyberabad Cyber Crime police on Wednesday arrested a 43-year-old officer of an infrastructure firm for duping a woman on pretext of marriage.  According to police, the victim from Madhapur had registered in a matrimonial website jeevansathi.com. The woman’s profile got a proposal from the accused Sasidharan Kattiri, a native of Kerala. He worked as an administration officer in



Bengaluru. 
Once the marriage was fixed. Sasidharan asked her for money to get a visa for UK. She transferred `7.50 lakh to the accused’s account. However, he vanished after getting the money.  He was nabbed in Bengaluru. He had earlier been involved in similar cases in Gujarat, Karnataka, and Rajasthan. A dowry harassment case had been filed against him by his wife.
