Four held in Kamatipura rape case

Hyderabad: The south zone police on Tuesday arrested four persons on charge of raping a woman at Kamatipura three days ago.

The accused persons, Shah Samiullah (40), Mohd Azeem Khan (32), Mohd Shahzur (38), Abdul Faheem (38), and Mohd Fayaz, who is absconding, brought the woman from Punjagutta, and raped her at an office near Rama Talkies under Kamatipura police station area on Saturday

“Fayaz got a job in Saudi Arabia and all his four friends hosted a party for him. They promised to pay Rs.10,000 to the woman and brought her along in a private cab from Punjagutta. However, when the woman refused, they raped her,” DCP (South) V. Satyanarayana said.

He denied that the woman was kidnapped from Punjagutta area.“The woman went on her own will,” the official added.
