Customs seize gold biscuits worth Rs.76 lakh at Chandigarh airport

In Chandigarh, Customs officers have nabbed a passenger and recovered 20 gold biscuits, worth around Rs 76 lakh, from the Dubai-Chandigarh flight at the international airport

yesterday.

Sources said the 35-year-old passenger, has confessed that the gold belonged to him. The weight of each gold biscuit is 116 gm.
