Woman found murdered in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 47 year-old woman was found murdered in Jiyaguda under Kulsumpura police station limits on Tuesday night.

According to the police, the victim had gone to attend a function at a newly constructed house. The function was organised by the construction workers on completion of the construction of the building.

“After all the guests had left, the victim stayed at the building along with a man allegedly known to her. In the morning



she was found dead in the house. We suspect she was strangled to death by the man,” said S Saidi Babu, Detective Inspector Mangalhat, who is in-charge of Kulsumpura police station. The suspect stayed at Jiyaguda before shifting to Rajendranagar and was known to the victim for a long time.

The Kulsumpura police registered a case and took up the investigation. Two teams were formed to track down the man who is absconding.
