Police book two a​mbulance drivers for drunk driving in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: The Choutuppal Traffic police on Tuesday booked two ​ambulance drivers on charges of drunk driving.

The drivers were identified as Abbas Syed​,​ a resident of Banjara Hills and J Narsimha from Gandhi Nagar.​

Rachakonda Police Commissioner, Mahesh M Bhagwat said ​they were



held as part of an enforcement drive​ ​against drunk driving​ taken up at ​the ​Toll Plaza on ​the ​Vijayawada Highway.

“Syed and Narsimha were caught for driving the​ir​ vehicles under the influence of alcohol,” he said, adding that challans were issued and they were sent for counselling.
