Nepali national jailed for raping minor daughters in Hyderabad:

A Nepali national was sentenced by a local court in LB Nagar on Tuesday to undergo 15 years rigourous imprisonment for raping his two minor daughters in 2018. The court imposed a fine of Rs.10,000 on him and issued directions for a compensation of Rs.6 lakh each to the victims.

The victims, who were



aged 17 and 8 years old then, were studying in a private school when they were repeatedly raped by their father, who worked as a watchman. The incident came to light in 2018, when the girls shared the ordeal with their relatives. Based on a complaint, the RGIA police booked a case and subsequently arrested him.
