Hyderabad: A day after Cyberabad Police Commissioner C V Anand claimed that police will not allow chain-snatchers to go scot free, offenders struck at three different places in the city on Thursday.

At Medipally police station limits, two unidentified persons travelling over a bike snatched a three-tola gold chain from a housewife. Similar was the case at Dilsukhnagar where the snatchers fled with a 2.5 gram gold chain worn by a woman. At Moulali in Malkajgiri police station limits,

45-year-old Padma was walking on the main road when two persons on a bike snatched her two tola gold chain and fled from the place.

Following the incidents, the police’s effort to nab offenders went in vain, as the snatchers escaped before the police conducted a massive vehicle checking at Kushaiguda, Jawahar Nagar, Saroornagar and Malkajgiri.
