Mancherial: A 45-year-old Anganwadi teacher was allegedly murdered by her husband in Narwa village of Jaipur mandal late on Saturday night following a domestic dispute.
According to police, Godari Rajamani died after being attacked with a stick by her husband Rajaiah, a coal miner, who was reportedly inebriated at the time. The couple frequently quarrelled, with Rajaiah allegedly
harassing Rajamani for money to buy liquor. The fatal assault occurred when Rajamani refused to give him money. She sustained severe head injuries and died on the spot, the police said.
Their daughter, Pujitha, lodged a complaint with the police. A murder case has been registered against Rajaiah, and an investigation is underway.
