A police constable booked under POCSO for misbehaving with minor in Hyderabad:

A police constable, Shekhar, attached to the Kukatpally police station has been booked on charges of misbehaving with a minor girl at her house in Shankerpally.

The 14-year-old victim’s family was staying in a rented portion of the constable’s house in Shankerpally. According to the police, on Tuesday



night, when the victim was alone in the house, Shekhar went to her and began misbehaving with her. Her mother, who returned at that time, saw this and raised an alarm.

Based on complaint from the victim’s family, the Shankerpally police booked a case under the POCSO Act against Shekhar and are investigating.
