60-year-old man held for molests a six year old girl

A 60-year-old man was arrested by Gopalapuram police for molesting a six-year-old girl taking tuition class from his wife.

The accused is, Ashok, a retired RTC employee from Regimental Bazar. Ashok’s wife is a teacher and the victim who is a class I student takes tuition classes from her. “Ashok touched her



inappropriately when his wife was not there,” Gopalapuram inspector Ch Sridhar said.

The victim went home and told her mother about Ashok’s misbehaviour. Ashok was arrested in the evening and a case was registered against him under relevant sections of the IPC and the POCSO Act.
