60 minors detained from hookah parlours

Hyderabad: About 60 minor boys were detained from hookah centres and 15 people were taken into custody by the City Police on Monday from various places for illegally running hookah parlours and for entertaining minors at parlours. 

According to sources, the East Zone and



West Zone Police raided hookah centres at Punjagutta, Malakpet, Amberpet, Saidabad and Sultan Bazaar and detained owners of parlours.

The detained minors will be counselled and cases have been booked against owners of hookah centres for allowing minors.
