2 kgs gold seized at airport in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: About two kilograms of gold has been seized at Shamshabad airport on Monday morning. The custom officials detained the yellow metal from a passenger who arrived from Dubai. During the checking, the passenger was found to be hiding the gold in his



shoe.

The officials also arrested the passenger and questioning him regarding his background. Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International airport [RGIA] has turned to be the hub of gold smuggling for the past one and half year.
