14-year-old girl raped by father in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A 14-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her father at Shabad on the city outskirts here on Sunday. According to the police, the incident happened in the early hours of Sunday when the girl was alone at home. The man threatened to kill her if she revealed it to anyone.

However, the girl mustered courage and told her



mother about the incident, who then lodged a complaint with the Shabad police against her husband, who fled the house by then. 

The Shabad police booked a case under the Indian Penal Code and sections of the Protection Of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and are investigating.
