11 youths held by She Team

Hanamkonda: The She team police has on Friday arrested 11 youths for allegedly harassing the girls and women. ACP B Babu Rao said that their teams have been actively patrolling across the city keeping a watchful eye on girls’ hostels and colleges.   He said that the arrested were provided counselling in the presence of their parents.

The parents were also told to keep an eye on their wards,



he said. Letting off the youths, he said that police will book cases against them under Nirbhaya Act and under relevant sections, if they continue their misdeeds.

Assuring that the details of the informants will be kept confidential, Babu Rao urged the people to use Warangal police Commissionerate’s WhatsApp number 9491089257 to lodge their complaints against the miscreants.
