US stocks end low; Dow Jones Industrial Average declines 0.8 per cent

New York: US stocks ended lower on Wednesday, reversing gains after comments by Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell.

The Dow Jones Industrial

Average declined 0.8 per cent, the S&P 500 fell 0.7 per cent and the Nasdaq Composite index slipped half a per cent.
