Uber to give UK drivers minimum wage, pension, holiday pay

Cab aggregator Uber has said that it will give its UK drivers a guaranteed minimum wage, holiday pay and pensions, following a recent court ruling that said they should be classified as workers and entitled to such benefits.  

The



announcement yesterday comes after it lost an appeal last month at the UK Supreme Court following a year-long court battle. Uber said it’s extending the benefits immediately to its more than seventy thousand drivers in the UK.
