Retail inflation dipped to a multi-year low of 3(point)63 percent in November this year, amid a fall in food inflation. Consumer price-based inflation had stood at 4.2 percent in October this year, and 5.41 percent in November last year. 
Official data released today, showed that overall food inflation decreased to



2.11 percent in November, from 3.32 percent in October. Retail inflation in vegetables slipped to minus 10.29 percent in November, while inflation in cereals and products stood at 4.86 percent. 
Retail inflation in rural areas fell to 4.13 percent in November, and in urban areas it decreased to 3.05 percent.
