PSBs disburse Rs.16,031 Cr to States, UTs so far: Nirmala Sitharaman

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman yesterday said, the Public Sector Banks have disbursed 16 thousand 31 crore rupees to the States and Union Territories so far. She said, PSBs have sanctioned loans worth 32 thousand 49 crore rupees under the 100 per cent Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme.

disbursements were made by the State Bank of India followed by Canara Bank. SBI disbursed eight thousand 776 crore rupees whereas Canara bank disbursed one thousand 306 crore rupees. Public Sector Banks have disbursed maximum amounts to Tamil Nadu followed by Uttar Pradesh.
