Oil prices extended losses yesterday after plunging five percent in the previous session, as investors fretted about the health of the U.S. economy ahead of an expected Federal Reserve interest rate hike later in the



day.

In intra-day trade, Brent crude was trading at 78 dollars and 97 cents per barrel while WTI crude price was at 75 dollars and 29 cents per barrel.
