Non-subsidized LPG prices slashed

The price of non-subsidized 14.2 Kg LPG was yesterday slashed by 61 rupees and 50 paise per cylinder in line with a fall in benchmark international rates. With this the new rate of non-subsidized LPG cylinder will be 744 rupees in Delhi. This is the second reduction in the rates since March this year as per the price notification issued by Indian Oil Corporation.

On 1st of last month, non-subsidized LPG



price was cut by 53 rupees per 14.2-kg cylinder. Cooking gas is available only at market prices across the country. Eligible users, however, get subsidy in their bank account for buying LPG cylinders at subsidized rates. Besides, the price of 19-kg LPG cylinder, used by commercial establishment, also came down to 1,285 rupees from 1,381.50 rupees in the national capital.
