Infosys reports 16.8 per cent, year-on-year, rise in consolidated net profit at Rs.5,215 cr for 3rd quarter of current fiscal

Infosys has reported a 16.8 per cent, year-on-year, rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 5,215 crore, for the third quarter of this fiscal. Gross revenue for the quarter rose 12.3 per cent, year-on-year, to Rs 25,927 crore.

 

The company also raised revenue guidance band to 4.5-5 per cent, and earning margin to 24-24.5 per cent, on the back



of continued strong performance.

 

IT major, Wipro has also reported 20.8 per cent, year-on-year, growth in its consolidated net profit at Rs 2,967 crore for the third quarter of this fiscal. The Bengaluru-based company's consolidated revenue rose 1.3 per cent to Rs 15,670 crore in the same quarter.
