The Ministry of Commerce & Industry has said that the country’s merchandise exports have risen nearly 46 percent to 33.28 billion US dollars in August. Similarly, India’s overall combined exports of Merchandise and Services in August 2021 are estimated to be 52.20 billion US dollar, exhibiting a positive growth of 33.99 per cent over the same period last year.

According to the data released by



the ministry, overall imports in August 2021 are estimated to be 58.57 billion US dollar, registering a positive growth of 45.38 per cent over the same period last year. Overall imports in April-August 2021 are estimated to be 273.45 billion US dollars, exhibiting a positive growth of 64.18 per cent over the same period last year, said the commerce ministry.
