Replying to supplementaries in the Rajya Sabha on Friday, Mr. Goyal said, the government is committed to increase it further. He added, the country achieved this target nine days before the end of the fiscal year. This shows 37 per cent jump over the previous fiscal of 2020-21 in which the exports stood at 292 billion US

dollar.

Replying to another query, the Minister said, the government has disbursed one lakh 70 thousand crore rupees to the farmers on procurement of food grains during the financial year 2020-21. He said, this is double than the amount of 85 thousand crore rupees disbursed during 2016-17.
