New Delhi: The gross Goods and Services Tax, GST revenue collected in the month of May this year is over one lakh two thousand crore rupees. Of which, CGST is 17 thousand 592 crore rupees, SGST is 22 thousand 653 crore rupees, IGST is 53 thousand 199 crore and Cess is nine 265 crore rupees.

The Finance Ministry said, this would be eighth month in a row that GST revenues have crossed



one lakh crore rupees mark. It said, the revenues for May are 65 per cent higher than the GST revenues in the same month last year. 

During the month, revenues from import of goods was 56 per cent higher and the revenues from domestic transactions are 69 per cent higher than the revenues from these sources during the same month last year.
