Gold prices surged 350 rupees, to 29,350 rupees per ten grams at Delhi's bullion market, yesterday, on increased buying by jewelers. Silver rose 125 rupees, to 41,375 rupees per kilo, on pick-up in



demand from industrial units and coin makers. 

Silver coins remained unchanged, at 71,000 rupees for buying 100 pieces. Overseas, gold fell 0.2 per cent, to 1,242 dollars an ounce.
