FM Nirmala Sitharaman to chair 42nd GST Council meeting today

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will chair the 42nd GST Council meeting through video conferencing in New Delhi today. The meeting will be attended by Minister of State for Finance Anurag Thakur and Finance Ministers of States and

Union Territories.

In the last meeting of GST council, Centre had given two borrowing options to States to meet GST compensation requirement for the current financial year.
