Finance Ministry extends deadline for filing September GST returns to October 25

The Finance Ministry has  extended the due date for filing of summary sales return GSTR-3B for the month of September by five days to 25th of this month. 

With this extension, businesses which want to claim Input Tax Credit (ITC) benefit for July 2017 to March 2018 period can do so



till  the extended period.

The Finance Ministry in a statement said, the decision was taken in view of the apprehension expressed by the trade and industry relating to earlier due date of 20th October for claiming ITC Under GST for July 2017-March 2018.
