New Delhi: Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has said that e-rupee will ensure transfer of benefits to citizens in a leak proof and transparent manner. He said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is committed to enhance the quality of life of every citizen by greater use of technology.

 

E-rupee, launched recently by the Prime Minister, is a symbol of how India is



progressing by connecting people's lives with technology. It’s an innovative instrument for fund transfer to the targeted beneficiary for a specific purpose. By connecting the sponsor of the service, the service provider and the beneficiary through a digital interface, it ensures service delivery besides acting as a bulwark against corruption.
