CBDT issues refunds of over Rs 1.14 lakh crore to more than 1.97 crore taxpayers

New Delhi; Central Board of Direct Taxes, CBDT has issued refunds of over one lakh 14 thousand crore rupees to more than one crore 97 lakh taxpayers between 1st April to 31st August this year.
In a tweet, Income Tax India said, the
refunds of 61 thousand 252 crore rupees have been issued in over one crore ninety-six lakh cases and corporate tax refunds of over 53 thousand crore rupees have been issued in over one lakh 46 thousand cases.
