New Delhi: Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh has called for linking up Start-Ups with Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector, saying the government is taking all measures, including necessary policy changes to strengthen the MSME sector.

Addressing the 8th India International MSME and StartUp Summit and Expo in New Delhi on Friday, Dr. Singh said that, MSME sector has played an important role in shaping the Atma Nirbhar Bharat and the government has substantially increased



budget to strengthen this sector in the last eight years.

He also informed that the government is encouraging unique local products to reach the global markets which in turn will help strengthen the economy.

The Minister said that the launch of Startup India in 2015 by Prime Minister Narendra Modi had opened floodgates of opportunities for youth to experiment with new ideas and create new jobs.
