Govt extends deadline for filing income tax returns till Sept 30

Union Government has extended the deadline for filing income tax returns for 2018-19 fiscal by two months till 30th of September.

In a tweet, the Income Tax Department said, in view of the constraints due to the



COVID pandemic and to further ease compliances for taxpayers, it extended the due date for filing of Income Tax Returns  from 31st of July 31 to 30th of September 30.
