Google to launch free WiFi in Mexico

Google announced on Tuesday it plans to launch a network of free Wi-Fi hotspots across Mexico. The move comes as part of Google's effort to improve connectivity in emerging markets and to promote its products.

56 hotspots will be planted and others planned. Google’s initial batch of Wi-Fi zones is scattered across the country

Mexico becomes the third market for Google Station’s after India and Indonesia.

Google sees Mexico as a good entry point for the product in Latin America.
