Aurangabad: " I am observing that some anti-social elements are misusing social media to spread rumours, create fear and hatred amongst communities, for the past one wheel. videos are being uploaded hinting at communal tension. All these tactics are being used to provoke people. 

I want to make it clear that I am not an MP of Muslims only, but represent one of and all of the constituency. I guarantee that there will be peace in Aurangabad. I also would like to convince all citizens that you will be safe and secured in the city,'' said newly elected MP Imtiyaz jaleel.

He was addressing his maiden press conference after getting elected, here yesterday.

" Believe in our system. The police are there to maintain law and order in the city. I hope they will also take necessary action against those involved in the misuse of social media," the MP said.

" I appreciate the mandate of the people, who voted for the irrespective of religious or other considerations. I assure all that I would try my level best to live upto their  expectations," said Jaleel.

alone cannot do anything. However, with your help, we can do many better things, to which the city was aspiring for the past 20 years. We will not let any illegal or wrong activity take place. I appeal to all there tired or young professionals and engineers to contribute in developing new Aurangabad," he said.

The MP revealed, " Enhancement of Aurangabad's air, train and road connectivity with major cities and destination is my top priority. This will help in growth of tourism, besides encouraging big industries, investors to set up their businesses here. Grounding of Jet Airways is a major blow to us. I will speak to key authorities of SpiceJet and IndiGo. I will take up the matter of train connectivity as well."

Jaleel clarified that he was not against parallel pipeline projects, but said that even after a decade the citizens are being deprived of adequate quantity of water. " I will soon be writing to the Government stating that the parallel pipeline projects is not in the interest of Aurangabad citizens. The Government should implement the project rather than a private players.," he said.
