AIMIM candidate Kausar Mohiuddin defeat BJP candidate wins from Karwan constituency.

Karwan Assembly constituency has an estimated Scheduled Caste population of 6.97% and an estimated Scheduled Tribe population of 0.52%, according to the report of the Delimitation Commission of 2008. The estimated literacy level of the district in which this constituency falls in is 83.25%, according

In the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, Kausar Mohiuddin of AIMIM won in this seat defeating Amar Singh of BJP by a margin of 50,169 which was 30.29% of the total votes cast for the seat. AIMIM had a vote share of 52.88% in 2018 in this seat.
