Barrister Asaduddin Owaisi, president All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen and Hyderabad MP slammed the Union Government for reducing the budget of 40 percent for the Minorities Welfare was presented in the budget. 

In a tweet, Barrister Owaisi said the Modi government has lessened the 40 percent budget for the Union Ministry of Minorities Welfare. President Majlis said probably Modi does not want Minorities students to get the government education. For Modi, Sab ka Saath Sabka Vikaas slogan is enough. Barrister Owaisi showed anguish for the



less budget for Minorities. 

Barrister Owaisi said the Union Ministry of Minorities Welfare is going through a crisis for that reason may be lessen the budget by 40 percent. In Union Budget 2023-24 Merit Scholarship 87 percent less for Minority class and only 44 crore has been alloted. In the last budget, 365 crore was alloted for Scholarship scheme. For Schools and Minorities education funds only 10 crore is allocated from less then 160 crore. In which 93 percent heavy deduction is done.
