Many communal riots happened during erstwhile AP CM Chandrababu Naidu's regime: Asaduddin Owaisi

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi on Thursday poured scorn on Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu's New Delhi visit and meeting with various political party leaders to bring them all together on one platform to take on the BJP in the next Lok Sabha elections.

Taking to Twitter, Owaisi said Naidu was a



leader who supported the BJP when "Gujarat pogrom happened in 2002". Recalling how during Naidu's tenure as Chief Minister of erstwhile Andhra Pradesh many communal riots happened, Owaisi said it was under Naidu that Aziz and Azam were killed in encounter. Now, Naidu is posing as "Saviour of Secularism Wah", Owaisi tweeted.
