Babri Masjid Demolition Verdict Updates: Expressing outrage over the verdict of a special CBI court that acquitted all 32 accused, including BJP veteran LK Advani, in the Babri mosque case, AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi called it "obnoxious" and said the central agency should appeal against it. Owaisi in his reaction to the judgement said, "This judgement satisfies the collective consciousness of Hindutva and its followers and ideology." He wondered how the court could state that there was no conspiracy in the matter.

Reading out the 2,000-page order, CBI judge Surendra Kumar Yadav acquitted all 32 accused in the 1992 Babri Masjid demolition case. The court observed that the demolition was not pre-planned and evidences are not strong. While Sadhvi Ritambhara, Sakshi Maharaj, Vinay Katiyar and Champat Rai Bansal were

present in court, three key accused BJP leaders skipped physical hearing, and attended through video-conferencing — Uma Bharti tested positive for coronavirus, LK Adavni and Murli Manohar Joshi have excused themselves on grounds of health and age.

Black Day for Judiciary, Asaduddin Owaisi: Today is a sad day in the history of Indian judiciary. Now, the court says there was no conspiracy. Please enlighten me, how many days of months of preparations are required to disqualify an action from being spontaneous? Decision by CBI court is a black day for Indian judiciary because the Supreme Court already said in civil property dispute of the site as 'an egregious violation of rule of law' and 'calculated act of destroying a public place of worship': Asaduddin Owaisi, on the Babri Masjid Demolition Verdict.
