All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) candidate from Chandrayangutta Akbaruddin Owaisi filed his nomination papers at the Returning Officer Chandrayangutta constituency office at Falaknuma on Wednesday, Nov 8.

Akbaruddin Owaisi was accompanied by his son Nooruddin Owaisi, party corporators Samad Bin Abdat and Saleem Baig. The Majlis floor leader reached the RO office at noon without any



procession and met the officer and submitted his nomination papers.

A five-term MLA from Chandrayangutta constituency, he will be contesting the election for the sixth time in a row. He made his debut in the legislative assembly after winning the elections from Chandrayangutta in 1999 by defeating MBT leader Mohd Amanullah Khan.
