MIM win 9 seats in Modasa municipal council polls

The MIM on Tuesday won nine out of the 12 seats it contested in the Modasa municipal council in Gujarat and secured main Opposition party status in its maiden attempt. It also bagged seven seats in the Godhra municipal elections and one seat in Bharuch. The party had earlier won seven seats in Ahmedabad.Party president Asaduddin Owaisi thanked the people of Modasa for the MIM's best

In a tweet, he said 'Grateful to the people of Modasa for blessing @aimim_national with their love & trusting us with their votes. We are now chief opposition party in Modasa & inshallah we will fulfil the role to best of our abilities. Congrats to our Gujarat election team & newly elected representatives.'
