Prime Minister Narendra Modi will receive French President Emmanuel Macron in Varanasi Monday morning.The two leaders will leave for Mirzapur where they will inaugurate a solar power plant before returning to Varanasi.

In Varanasi, the two leaders will visit the Deen Dayal Hastkala Sankul. An official release said, they shall interact with artisans and view a live demonstration of their crafts.

Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will then go to the famous Assi Ghat in Varanasi, where they will board a boat for a ride along the Ghats of the Ganga. Mr Modi will also host a lunch in honour of the French President.

In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will flag off a train between Maduadih Railway Station in Varanasi and Patna.He will launch various development projects and address a public meeting at the DLW Grounds in Varanasi. 

After a brief ceremony at Varanasi Airport, the two leaders will leave for Mirzapur, where they will jointly inaugurate a solar power plant at Dadar Kala village in Chhanwe area of the



district. 

The 75-MW solar plant has been set up by a French company. Solar plant is spread over in 382 acre of land and about 650 crore rupees have been spend on its setting up. 

Foundation of the plant was laid in the year 2016. It is one of the largest solar plant in the country.After the about an hour long function both leaders will return to Varanasi to attend other programs in day hours. 

In Varanasi, the two leaders will visit the Deen Dayal Hastkala Sankul. 
They will interact with artisans and view a live demonstration of their crafts. 

Prime Minister Modi and President Macron will ride on a boat from famous Assi Ghat to the historic Dashashwamedh Ghat. 

Before leaving for Delhi In the afternoon, the Prime Minister will flag off a train between Maduadih Railway Station in Varanasi, and Patna. 

He will also launch various development projects and address a public meeting at the DLW Grounds in Varanasi.
