Vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu to visit Sikkim today

The Vice-president, M Venkaiah Naidu will visit Sikkim today. Mr Naidu, during his two days official visit to state, will attend convocation of ICFAI University at Gangtok. He will be also attending an official programme at National Research centre for Orchid at Pakyong. 

The Security arrangements in state capital have been tightened in view of the Vice-president two days visit to Sikkim. It is his first visit to this state since he took



office. 

The arrival of the Vice-president M Venkaiah Naidu is expected at Libing Army helipad from where he would proceed to Gangtok by road to attend the convocation of ICFAI, University at Chintan Bhawan. 

Mr. Naidu later in the afternoon will attend an official function at National Research Centre for orchid at Pakyong in east district. He will also be interacting with the scientists of the research centre on the occasion.
