Union Information and Broadcasting Minister Smriti Irani has said that Steel Authority of India's closed steel plant at Jagadishpur in Amethi will be revived soon.After an inspection of the plant, Mrs Irani told media persons that revival of the unit will generate employment for local youths and also bring prosperity in the area. 

She arrived in Amethi on Monday on a two-day visit to her constituency Amethi. 

Mrs Irani also participated in the programmes organised by the BJP's district unit at different places.Mrs Irani also reviewed the preparations for today's rally and launch of several



projects including FM Radio Station, construction of a bund at River Gomati to save villages from flood, inauguration of Tuberculosis unit at District Hospital and Primary Health Center at Tiloi and several welfare programmes and projects initiated by the centre and the State governments at Gauriganj in Amethi. 

The beneficiaries of various schemes will be handed over certificates during the function. BJP President Amit Shah, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy CM Keshaw Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma and several other State Government Ministers will also participate in the function.
