SIT arrests Naveen Kumar in Gauri Lankesh murder case

The Special Investigation Team probing the murder of Journalist Gauri Lankesh arrested an accused, KT Naveen Kumar, in Bengaluru yesterday. 

He was earlier taken into custody on March 2nd and after interrogation. SIT produced him before the court, where he was remanded to five days police custody till 13th this month. 

The SIT has sought



permission to conduct narco-analysis test on the accused and court has reserved its orders on the matter and posted the case to March 12th.The accused is said to be the founder of Hindu Yuva Sena. 

The Editor of Lankesh Patrike Kannada magazine, Gauri Lankesh, was shot dead outside her residence in Bengaluru on September 5th last year.
