Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said that the role of business and industry is crucial in the transformation of ties between India and Israel.Speaking at India-Israel Business Summit in New Delhi yesterday, Mr Modi said, it is the combined efforts of the industry of two countries that will add real value to interaction between him and the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. 

Mr Modi invited investments from Israeli companies saying India has a huge development agenda and offers vast



opportunities.He promised more reforms to further improve the ease of doing business in the country. 

The Prime Minister stressed the need for collaboration between the industries, start-ups and academic institutions of the two countries.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr Netanyahu stressed on the importance of technology in sectors like agriculture and water management.He also talked about increasing cooperation in health sector as well as startups.
